For Boards, Investors and Sponsors

Strategic Advisement

People that have worked with me have often heard me say we’re going to begin by identifying the What and the Why, then working on the When and the How. Such as why should we enter this market now or should we wait? What does realistic scaling look like in this segment of behavioral health? What are the hidden constraints that could cap growth? How does what we’re buying today support or limit future exits?

Strategic Advisement

Decades of Behavioral Health Growth Insight

Behavioral health is not a simple scaling opportunity. It is human, regulated, capital-intensive, culturally sensitive, and operationally complex. With experience overseeing growth inside a behavioral health company through multiple stages of maturity, including time that resulted in two successful transactions, I advise boards, private equity sponsors, and leadership teams who need a clear-eyed view of what they are buying, building, or scaling and what risks and opportunities sit beneath the surface.

Transaction & Diligence Reality

I bring direct experience from multiple successful behavioral health transactions, which means I understand diligence from both sides of the table. I know what operators believe about their businesses and what investors need to verify beyond the deck. My work focuses on distinguishing what scales from what is being explained, identifying risks early, and clarifying which growth narratives will support future exits.

What You’re Getting

When organizations or sponsors engage me, they are engaging judgment and experience. I assess whether growth is structurally sustainable by examining how value is created inside the business, how culture impacts execution and accountability, where hidden dependencies may limit scale, and whether leadership structure supports long-term performance. These dynamics rarely surface cleanly in the review materials, but they consistently determine whether growth holds post-close.

Strategic Positioning & Investment Readiness

I support boards and investment sponsors evaluating behavioral health assets by pressure-testing growth assumptions before capital is deployed. My work spans industry benchmarking, market positioning, lead-generation and conversion integrity, and organizational readiness to scale. Through document review and direct stakeholder conversations, I validate what appears consistent and surface where volume, demand, or pipeline performance may be overstated. I focus on identifying misleading signals - for example, where growth looks strong, but conversion, dependency, or execution risk tells a different story - so investment decisions are grounded in reality. The goal is to clarify risk, opportunity, and the levers before capital is committed.

Where I Sit

I sit at the intersection of strategy and growth - helping boards and investors make confident, informed decisions that create enduring value and returns. I bring perspective shaped by experience, pattern recognition developed over time, and the ability to name what others sense but can’t yet see.
